The Sound of the Festival
Dj Xtian
Christian Monroy is a passionate tango DJ and dancer, originally from Peru and raised in Buenos Aires, who has been shaping the European tango scene since 2001.
His DJ career began as a resident DJ at a milonga in his adopted village of Neuchâtel, Switzerland. He was quickly invited to play at numerous milongas and festivals throughout Europe—including England, France, Germany, Poland, Belgium, Austria, Portugal, and Spain—and to thrill dancers with his discerning musical selections.
DJ Xtian has mastered the art of reading the energy of the dance floor and filling it with the perfect tandas.
Dj Pablo🧉
Pablo Chanteiro, native of Esmeralda in Buenos Aires, he has over twenty years of experience as a DJ. He has been a fixture on the Veneto scene for decades and is widely known in Northern Italy and Lombardy as a highly regarded and popular DJ.
He is passionate about the music of tango's "golden age"—that timeless period between the 1920s and 1950s when the great orchestras gave the dance halls their inimitable sound.
His goal: to revive the magic of the "golden age" with music that touches, inspires, and connects.
This is the second time we've had him as our DJ, and we are very happy to have him with us.
Dj Andrés
We are particularly pleased to welcome Andrés Diaz for the first time as a DJ. Andrés Diaz began dancing tango as a DJ in 2005. He had injured himself and could no longer dance. Playing music offered him another form of connection—one he cherished—and he was determined to explore it. Since then, he has DJ at various events, including with orchestras. He has been invited to numerous venues in Great Britain and Europe. His style is described as dynamic, energetic, and danceable.
His goal is to inspire the dancers, facilitate a beautiful ronda, and keep everyone smiling until the end of the tanda. Each tanda is a chapter, and each milonga a whole story, always different.
